Željana Vasović is a senior accountant at KCM Financial Group who built her professional development in accounting inside the company.

Over more than four years at KCM she progressed from an intern role, through junior and medior levels, to senior accountant. Today she manages and represents some of the office’s more demanding clients, among whom manufacturing companies and sole traders stand out in particular.

Professional focus

A distinct part of Željana’s expertise is financial and cost accounting for manufacturing companies, which requires a strong understanding of costs, inventories, production processes and the way those data are reflected in the financial records and reporting.

She has also developed significant experience in working with sole traders, with a particular focus on their accounting and tax specifics, including tax on income from self-employment.

Željana is an economics graduate and has further developed her professional knowledge through practical work with different business models and the application of accounting and tax regulations.

While working as a senior she has also proved to be a successful mentor to interns and junior accountants, introducing them through practical work to taking on accounting responsibilities independently.

As a senior accountant she is responsible for financial reporting, tax calculations and filings, reviewing the books, communicating with clients and coordinating the work of her team.
